How it works
Share a VPN with any device in three steps.
Your phone connects to the VPN once. Everything else on your network borrows that connection through a proxy address.
What people use it for
Share a VPN with a laptop
Point the laptop's manual proxy at your phone instead of installing a VPN on it.
Put an Android TV behind a proxy
Route a TV through your phone's connection using Proxy All Apps and the remote.
Proxy only the apps you pick
Tunnel one app and leave the rest of the phone untouched, or do the reverse.
Inspect an app's traffic
Send a single app's traffic to the HTTP proxy you use for debugging.
Under the hood
Built close to the metal.
No servers of ours sit between you and your proxy. The heavy lifting happens on your device.
VpnService
Captures traffic from only the selected apps through Android's own VPN API. No root.
C++ packet core
Packet handling is written in C++ with the NDK and ships for four CPU architectures.
HTTP + SOCKS5 + UDP
HTTP CONNECT and SOCKS5 with UDP ASSOCIATE, so DNS and other UDP can use your proxy too.
Leanback UI
D-pad focus states, large targets and a layout designed for a TV remote.
Local-first
Proxying and relaying run on your device. Your traffic is not sent through servers we operate.
Firebase + AdMob
Crashlytics, Analytics and Performance for stability; AdMob with consent handling where ads appear.
FAQ
Quick answers.
Do I need root?
No. Proxy All Apps uses Android's standard VpnService, which Android asks you to approve once.
Can you see my traffic?
No. We do not run proxy or VPN servers, and traffic goes from your device to the proxy you chose. What a proxy can see depends on whoever operates it. Each app's privacy policy explains the details.
Which proxy types are supported?
Proxy All Apps supports HTTP (CONNECT) and SOCKS5, including UDP ASSOCIATE for SOCKS5.
Does it work on Android TV?
Yes. Proxy All Apps has an interface built for a TV remote, with clear focus highlighting on every control.
Why are there two apps for sharing a VPN?
VPN Hotspot & Proxy runs the proxy server. Some VPNs tunnel the whole device, which can block other devices from reaching that server, and VHP Bridge is the small helper that fixes this.
Do the apps show ads?
Proxy All Apps and VPN Hotspot & Proxy show ads through Google AdMob, and ad personalisation asks for your consent where the law requires it. VHP Bridge shows no ads.
