Privacy Policy for Proxy All Apps
Applies to: Proxy All Apps (com.ostechnologies.proxymyapps) on Android phones, tablets and Android TV. Last updated: 26 October 2026
In short: Proxy All Apps has no accounts and asks for no personal information. The settings you enter and the apps you pick stay on your device. Your internet traffic goes from your device to the proxy server you choose; we do not run any proxy or VPN servers, so we never receive your traffic. The app shows ads through Google AdMob and uses Google Firebase for crash and usage diagnostics, and those Google services send limited technical data to Google as described below.
At a glance
| Information | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| Your browsing and app traffic, including the servers your apps connect to | Goes from your device to the proxy server you entered. It does not go to OS Technologies. |
| Proxy address, port, proxy type and your list of selected apps | Stored on your device only. Never sent to us. |
| Name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, files, location, accounts | Not collected. The app has no sign-up and does not ask for access to these. |
| Advertising ID and device information used to show ads | Sent to Google AdMob. See Advertising below. |
| Crash reports, performance data and aggregate usage | Sent to Google Firebase. See Analytics and crash reports below. |
Who we are
The app is published by OS Technologies ("we", "us"). Contact: ostechnologies.apps@gmail.com.
What the app does
Proxy All Apps uses Android's built-in VPN service to send the traffic of the apps you select to an HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy (including SOCKS5 UDP) at the address and port that you type in. Android asks you to approve the VPN connection. This VPN runs only on your device: it is not a VPN service operated by us. You can choose to route only selected apps, or everything except selected apps. No root access is needed.
Your traffic and your proxy
- Traffic from the apps you selected is forwarded to the proxy server you configured. We do not operate that server and we do not see, log, store or sell that traffic.
- The operator of your proxy can see which servers your apps contact and can read any traffic that is not encrypted, such as plain HTTP. Encrypted HTTPS content stays unreadable to a proxy, but the destination is visible to it. Only use a proxy you trust.
- HTTP and SOCKS5 do not encrypt the connection between your device and the proxy by themselves. If you need that, use a proxy reachable over a secure network or tunnel.
- Name (DNS) lookups made by routed apps follow your device's DNS settings and the proxy you choose. They are not sent to us.
- The live speed and traffic totals shown in the app are calculated on your device and are not transmitted.
Information stored on your device
The app keeps your proxy address, port and type (HTTP or SOCKS5), your allowed or disallowed app list and mode, and whether the VPN was running so it can be restored after a restart. This is kept in the app's private storage, the app opts out of Android's automatic backup, and it is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall it. On-device integrity checks (such as the app's signing certificate and package name) also run locally.
Advertising
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers such as the Android advertising ID, together with device and usage information, to serve, measure and secure ads, and may show personalised ads where permitted. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK) the app asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before ads are personalised. See Google's advertising policies at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Analytics and crash reports
The app includes the following Google Firebase services. Google processes this data as our service provider; see https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy and https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- Firebase Crashlytics: crash diagnostics such as stack traces, device model, OS version, app version and a random installation identifier.
- Firebase Analytics: automatically collected usage events, a pseudonymous app-instance identifier, approximate region derived from IP address (the IP address itself is not retained by Analytics), device and OS attributes and, where available and permitted, the advertising ID.
- Firebase Performance Monitoring: performance data such as app start-up time and network request timings.
We add no tracking of our own, and we do not link these identifiers to your name, your proxy or your traffic.
How we use information and who we share it with
We use the data above to keep the app stable, understand aggregate usage, show and measure ads, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. We do not sell or rent your data. Google LLC (AdMob and Firebase) processes data as described above. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect rights, safety or property.
Retention
- Crashlytics crash records: up to 90 days.
- Firebase Analytics event data: for the period set in our Firebase project, up to 14 months.
- Settings stored on your device: until you clear the app's data or uninstall.
International transfers
Firebase and AdMob data is processed on Google's servers, which may be outside your country, including the United States. Google applies Standard Contractual Clauses and other safeguards.
Permissions the app requests
- INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: to reach your proxy and load ads.
- VPN permission: granted by you in an Android system dialog, so the app can route selected apps through your proxy.
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE: to keep the connection running with a status notification.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: to show that status notification on Android 13 and later.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: to restore the connection state after the device restarts.
- AD_ID: so AdMob and Firebase can read the advertising ID as described above.
Security
Data sent to Google (Firebase and AdMob) is encrypted in transit with TLS. The VPN tunnel is created and handled on your device. The security of the link between your device and your proxy depends on the proxy and protocol you choose, as explained above.
Your choices
- Ads: reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads. Where ad consent is required, you are asked before personalised ads are used.
- Notifications: turn them off in Android Settings > Apps > Proxy All Apps > Notifications.
- Stop all collection: uninstall the app. Nothing further is collected after that.
- If you are in a region that gives you access, correction, deletion, objection or portability rights (for example the EEA, UK or California), email ostechnologies.apps@gmail.com. Because the identifiers above are not linked to your name, include your Crashlytics installation ID or app-instance ID if you want a specific record found.
Children
The app is a networking utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or the law changes. The new version will appear on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
